This breakfast is very popular in Russia, its fast to cook and very tasty with different toppings. The main ingredient is a cottage cheese. Russian cottage cheese could be different consistency, so for Sirniky we need thick and dry cottage cheese. Very similar analog/example is Italian Ricotta. Lets go! 

For 2 persons we need:

300gr cottage cheese/ Ricotta cheese

1 egg

3-4 big spoons of flour (for your taste – rice flour, almond, coconut, white etc).

1-2 small spoon of sugar (to taste, Im cooking without sugar)

Mix all of the ingredients together, watch if you need more flour. Shape balls with the wet hands and fry in a pan with the slow fire under the lid 4-6 mis each side. 

Topping with greek yogurt/Nutella/honey/sweet syrup/jam/friuts
